Dubois has, in partnership with Yacht Carbon Offset, decided to balance the estimated carbon footprint of the Dubois Cup, including an allowance for participants’ air travel to Sardinia.
Greenhouse gas emissions from the event have been offset by equivalent emissions reductions achieved by independently verified green energy projects.
We understand that the Dubois Cup 2011 is the first major Superyacht regatta to neutralise its carbon footprint in this way.
Yacht Carbon Offset provides a specialist service to superyacht clients, both motor and sail, and has Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Certification.
